Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information may be processed when you visit Roguelite.org, how advertising and analytics services are used, and the choices available to you.

Effective and last updated: July 25, 2026

Information you provide

Roguelite.org does not offer public user accounts, purchases, comments, or a contact form. If you email us, we receive the email address, message, and any other information you choose to include. Please do not send sensitive information that is not needed for your request.

Technical and usage information

Our hosting and security providers may process standard request information such as an IP address, user agent, requested URL, referring page, date and time, and technical error data. This information is used to deliver the site, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and investigate security incidents.

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage, such as pages visited, approximate location derived from an IP address, device and browser characteristics, and referral sources. Google may use cookies or similar technologies for this service. You can learn about Google's data practices in the Google Privacy Policy and can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Google AdSense and advertising cookies

We use Google AdSense to display advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Google's use of advertising cookies may allow it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to Roguelite.org and other sites on the Internet.

You can manage personalized advertising or opt out through Google Ads Settings. Additional opt-out choices for participating third-party vendors may be available through YourAdChoices. Where consent is legally required, advertising choices and consent signals may affect whether personalized or non-personalized ads are shown.

Advertising providers operate under their own privacy policies. Further explanations of how Google uses information from sites that use its services are available through Google's partner sites information.

Third-party games and embedded content

A game frame is not loaded until you choose a Play button. When loaded, the frame connects to a third-party game provider, currently CrazyGames, which may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details, and the page or game requested. The provider may use its own cookies or similar technologies under its own terms and privacy policy.

Roguelite.org does not control data handling inside third-party game frames. Review the relevant provider's privacy information before playing if you have questions about that processing.

Your choices and rights

You can restrict or delete cookies through your browser, use the Google controls linked above, or stop loading a third-party game by closing its player. Blocking cookies may change how advertising or embedded content works.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding personal information. To make a privacy request, email contact@roguelite.org. We may need enough information to understand and verify the request.

Retention, security, and international processing

We keep direct correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to answer requests, maintain records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Hosting, analytics, advertising, and game providers determine retention for information they process under their own policies.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live, subject to their legal safeguards.

Children and changes to this policy

Roguelite.org is a general-audience game discovery site and is not directed specifically to children under the age required to consent to data processing in their location. We do not knowingly ask children to submit personal information directly to us.

We may update this policy when the site, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
