War Lands combines an action-RPG equipment hunt with a sequence of roguelike trials. Battles become harder along a chosen path, defeated enemies and containers provide loot, and the town between trials supports leveling, inventory work, rewards, and enchantment. Weapons define the practical class: swords, greatswords, shields, bows, and staffs change both attack distance and available special abilities. Death can end the current progress, so reward selection has to respect the build already in hand.

The path displays clues about upcoming rewards, letting the player choose levels that support a current weakness. How to play War Lands

Break barrels and boxes for gold, but do not enter a dangerous corner only for one container. Read the reward icons on the path and choose a branch that supplies equipment or growth aligned with the current weapon.

Open inventory with B and reserve slots for items that can realistically improve the build before the town returns. Focus skill points on statistics used by the equipped weapon; a dual-sword setup values different growth from a staff or shield. Enchant strong long-term pieces rather than every temporary upgrade. In combat, make one safe attack sequence, dodge through the response, and reset instead of trading health for an uncertain extra hit.
